1. Shipping Policy

Shipping Within Canada

All orders ship from British Columbia, Canada.

I ship using Canada Post Expedited or ExpressPost.

Most orders arrive within 3–7 business days depending on location.

Shipping to the USA

I ship to the U.S. using Canada Post/USPS.

Typical delivery time is 7–14 business days.

Tracking

Every order includes tracking.

You’ll receive an email with your tracking number as soon as your package ships.

Processing Time

In-stock knives ship within 1–3 business days.

Custom orders vary — timelines will be quoted individually.

Lost or Delayed Packages

If a shipment is delayed, I will help contact the carrier.

If a package is lost, I will work with you to resolve it.

2. Return & Refund Policy

You may return any standard, in-stock knife within 7 days of receiving it for a refund if the knife is unused, unsharpened, and in original condition.

Refund will be purchase price minus shipping.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the knife and packaging

  • A description of the issue

I do not accept returns for normal wear, misuse, or damage caused by improper sharpening or batonning beyond the knife’s intended purpose.

3. Warranty Policy

Every Back Knives blade includes a lifetime warranty against defects in:

  • materials

  • heat treat

  • craftsmanship

If something fails due to my workmanship, I’ll repair or replace it at no cost.

What isn’t covered:

  • abuse (prying, throwing, hammering the spine with steel objects)

  • rust from lack of care

  • dropping the knife

  • damage from unauthorized modifications

  • cosmetic wear (patina, minor scratches)

4. Care & Maintenance Policy

Your BAC Knives blade is made from high-quality steel and premium handle materials.

Proper care ensures it lasts a lifetime.

Recommendations:

  • Hand wash and fully dry after use

  • Do not put the knife in a dishwasher

  • Lightly oil the blade if storing long-term (carbon steels only, not required for stainless)

  • Use a cutting board for kitchen knives

  • Store in a dry environment

If you ever need resharpening, refinishing, or refurbishing, I offer low-cost tune-ups for customers.

5. Custom Order Policy

Custom orders are accepted depending on workload.

How it works:

  1. Contact me with your idea

  2. We agree on design, materials, and price

  3. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures the build

  4. Remaining balance is due before shipping

Lead Times:

Typically 4–10 weeks, depending on materials and complexity.

Changes to the design after the deposit may affect the price or timeline.

6. Legal Compliance (Required for Knives)

I do NOT sell:

  • automatic knives

  • switchblades

  • balisongs

  • prohibited weapons under Canadian law

Buyers must be 18+.

By purchasing a knife, you acknowledge that you are responsible for using it safely and legally in your province/state.
